Rosewall Community Centre
Developing digital strategy and capacity building at an academic library in Mongolia was my entry into the development sector in 2010 and it sparked a fire that – via projects, volunteering, and study - led me to Neighbourhood Houses and to my role as Manager at Rosewall Community Centre. Prior to Rosewall, I spent 15 years’ working in public libraries where I wore many different hats and developed a broad cross-section of skills. In the course of a day, I would go from developing strategies to wearing a dinosaur costume to promote reading to children. The diversity of experiences prepared me well for the wide range of skills required to manage a Neighbourhood House. A newcomer to Neighbourhood Houses in 2021, I am delighted to join a network that values creativity, resourcefulness, and a determination to create meaningful outcomes for individuals and communities.
